Meet Lyric Ramsey

Lyric Ramsey, a proud "black unicorn" from Carson, California, fearlessly stands out in the entertainment world. She started as a leader at Gardena High School, where she even founded the school's first LGBTQ club.

After graduating from Howard University in Television Communications, Lyric returned to the West Coast with a clear goal – breaking into the entertainment business.

Her journey took an unexpected turn when, on the day she landed in Los Angeles, she encountered a TV crew at a salon. Seizing the opportunity, Lyric talked her way into a job, setting the stage for a remarkable career.

From TV editor to producer, she's worked on diverse programs, mingling with big names in entertainment and earning an Emmy nomination for her work on projects like "Monster -Dahmer," Marvel, and "You People" directed by Kenya Barris. Lyric's story is one of resilience and success in the ever-evolving world of film and TV.
